Jane Hardy

Jane is a commercial litigator of more than 18 years experience dealing with corporate clients and individuals on a wide variety of matters.

She advises clients on a large number of commercial issues from breach of contract and distributorship agreements to enforcement of information technology agreements and advising on infringements of clients copy rights.

Over the years Jane has advised her commercial property clients in regard to litigious matters arising from their property portfolios. The scope of that advice encompasses enforcement of restrictive covenants, overage arrangements, possession proceedings for commercial and residential property. Jane acts for both landlords and tenants and advises in relation to dilapidations proceedings, recovery of rent and service charges and enforcement of lease terms. Jane has also been involved in advising corporate clients and individuals in relation to insolvency issues.

Jane Hardy’s experience has assisted her clients in successfully resolving disputes either through the courts or in a commercial mediation forum. Jane also advises clients in regard to professional negligence claims. Jane has represented the winning party in a number of important reported Court of Appeal decisions.
