Interactive Media Solicitor (Entertainment Software Department)

As part of the firm’s expansion of its highly successful Entertainment Software practice, Sheridans is now looking to recruit a Senior Lawyer to join the existing team.

Sheridans is already firmly established within the computer and video games industry and also has an exceptional reputation for advising in connection with social media and online businesses.

The firm is looking to build on its existing reputation and further enhance the department by recruiting a dynamic and experienced lawyer with a genuine interest in interactive media and entertainment, as well as demonstrable expertise in commercial IP, IT, branding, software development, publishing and licensing.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing a practice area themselves and should be keen to work with a likeminded team, whose members are committed to devoting their skills and resources to grow the practice further. Applicants should have their own contacts and some following but must also be able to service the department’s existing broad client base.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced and ambitious solicitor to be part of a growing team within one of the UK’s leading leisure, media and entertainment law firms. Please be aware that this is a senior position and, as such, is not suited to newly qualified or junior fee earners.

Candidates should please apply by sending their CV and covering letter to Sarah McGiven via email on smcgiven@sheridans.co.uk. Strictly no agencies, please. Sheridans is an equal opportunities employer.

Please note all jobs advertised on www.sheridans.co.uk are current and applications are being accepted in connection with these vacancies, however, only candidates successful in reaching interview stage will be contacted.
